‘Guilty Gear Xrd’ “Elphelt Valentine” Figure Now Available For Pre-Order

Debuting in Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-, Elphelt Valentine is the latest character to receive a collectible figure, scheduled to release in Spring 2017.

Making her series debut in 2014’s Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-, Elphelt is the third in a series of Valentine android units, each constructed using a remnant of Sol Badguy’s former love interest- Aria- before her forced transformation into the saga’s original enemy, the primordial Gear- Justice. In contrast to sister Ramlethal Valentine, Elphelt’s bombastic design and personality mirror that of a wedding cake and a bride, reflecting her persistent search for a husband, even if it means shooting him with a specialized love-bullet as seen in her Instant Kill attack. Elphelt received a more Gothic prisoner-inspired design in Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- following her “hidden villain” reveal, sporting a black-and-white dress with an oversized spiked collar around her neck.

With Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske and Ramlethal Valentine all immortalized in collectible statues, newcomer Elphelt Valentine is the next Guilty Gear Xrd character to receive a collectible figure, this time from manufacturer Aquamarine. The 1/7th scale figure depicts Elphelt with the default bridal costume from Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-, complete with her trusty “Miss Traveler” handgun and weaponized bouquet of roses. Each figure is pre-painted and sculpted from PVC and ABS, standing at approximately 27.5cm/10.8in tall.

The Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- Elphelt Valentine figure from Aquamarine can be pre-ordered through Play-Asia, AmiAmi and other international collectible retailers for $137.99; units are expected to begin shipping in Spring 2017, with 4/30/2017 listed as a tentative date.

Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- will also receive a new Digital Figure model viewer and photo mode later this month for both the PS3 and PS4 releases.
