The PlayStation’s original mascot is getting a serious overhaul for the PS4.
The lovable bandicoot [of sorts] from Sony and Naughty Dog has been on extended leave as of late, however Crash returned from his slumber to make a cameo in the PS3 and PS4 versions of Skylanders Imaginators. To those not willing to purchase the Skylanders set- or want more than just the Crash Easter Egg in Uncharted 4– Sony also announced that the original PS1 trilogy would receive an HD remaster for the PS4 in the future.
Earlier today, Sony finally pulled back the curtain on the Crash Bandicoot remasters at the PlayStation Experience keynote presentation. With the help of Activision, Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped are all coming to the PS4 as the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. Each title has been rebuilt from scratch to channel the wacky fun of the PS1 games through the power and visuals of the PS4 and PS4 Pro.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will release for the PS4 sometime next year.
