‘My Hero Academia: One’s Justice’ Screenshots Revealed, Trailer Coming Next Week

Izuku and Tomura clash in the first screenshots of the upcoming My Hero Academia fighting game.

It may have taken a few years, but My Hero Academia finally has a proper console video game in development at Bandai Namco. “All Might”, “Deku”, Bakugo and company will all transition from the pages and animation-cells of manga and anime into 2018’s My Hero Academia: One’s Justice, a 3D-Fighter set to release for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch next year.

Little is known about Bandai Namco’s take on the popular anime and manga franchise, but the official website for One’s Justice recently updated with a new batch of gameplay screenshots, and character bios for the two featured combatants; for those unfamiliar with the series, the photos showcase a cel-shaded Izuku “Deku” Midoriya- a student-hero who inherited his still-developing abilities from the legendary “All Might”, fighting against the enigmatic head of the “League of Villains”, Tomura Shigaraki. Midoriya’s and Shigaraki’s “Quirks” (i.e. superpowers) of “One for All” and “Decay” are on full-display alongside the game’s bombastic comic-book visuals.

Bandai Namco will unveil the debut trailer on 12/16 during the Jump Fiesta event. My Hero Academia: One’s Justice will release sometime next year for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
