‘Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR-‘ Coming To NA In Spring 2016

Japanese and North American Guilty Gear players can go head-to-head even earlier than expected, as Guilty GearĀ Xrd -REVELATOR- hits both regions next Spring.

Guilty Gear returned from its extended slumber with Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- last year. The series was kept alive through multiple updates of Guilty Gear XX across various platforms, though -SIGN- is the first game in the core saga to feature a new engine and drastically altered mechanics. An updated version, Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- was announced in Spring, with new UI changes, an expanded story, a new gameplay setting for new GG players, and four additional characters- Johnny, Jack-O, Jam Kuradoberi and Dizzy.

Like its predecessor, -REVELATOR- released in Japanese arcades prior to the console versions; both the PS3 and PS4 versions are scheduled to release in Japan in Spring 2016. North American Guilty Gear fans can also look forward to next Spring, as publisher Aksys Games recently confirmed a localized Spring 2016 release window. Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- will support Sony’s Cross-Play, allowing PS3 and PS4 owners to share servers and compete online, however the PS4 version will be presented at 60fps.

A release date has not been confirmed, however both the PS3 and PS4 North American versions of Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- are likely to release within the same launch window as their Japanese counterparts.
