Not only will Attack on Titan head stateside this year, but Omega Force’s take on the franchise will now release on additional platforms as a digital title.
Following two Nintendo 3DS titles met with lackluster reception from fans, Dynasty Warriors developer Omega Force released their own take on Attack on Titan earlier this year for Sony consoles. Attack on Titan released exclusively for Japanese audiences, with an extensive story mode spanning both the original manga and the first season of the anime adaptation; a warning to fans only familiar with the anime series, Attack on Titan contains spoilers and major battles against characters not yet revealed in the anime.
Yesterday morning, Attack on Titan publisher Koei Tecmo announced that the title would release for North American audiences late this Summer. Along with English localization, Attack on Titan will now see a physical release on Xbox One, and additional platforms as a digital-exclusive.
Attack on Titan will release on 8/30 for PS4 and Xbox One physically, and as a digital download for PS3, PS Vita and PC.
