The creators of Saints Row are back with a brand new sci-fi action IP- Agents of Mayhem.

Earlier today, Deep Silver and Saints Row developer Volition debuted the first trailer for Agents of Mayhem through IGN First. The trailer continues the offbeat humor of Volition’s games with the introduction of three eccentric soldiers in battle- reckless agents of the Multinational Agency for Hunting Evil Masterminds, or “MAYHEM”. While MAYHEM’s agents may not be heroes by trade, recruits are tasked with fighting the evil super-group “LEGION”- the League of Evil Gentlemen Intent on Obliterating Nations. No gameplay is shown in the debut trailer, however MAYHEM agents Fortune, Hardtack and Hollywood all sport their own unique abilities which may translate to actual gameplay expected to be seen next week during E3 2016.

Agents of Mayhem is a brand new IP from Volition, however several trailer assets suggest the upcoming title is loosely tied to the Saints Row universe, as indicated by the signature black-and-purple color scheme, the three ULTOR Corporation conference call members, and the stylized purple fleur-de-lis associated with the 3rd Street Saints.

Volition and Deep Silver are expected to reveal more information on Agents of Mayhem at E3 2016 and throughout the rest of June via IGN First.
