Dark Knight fans can now get an extended look at Gotham City and Batman’s origins through the eyes of Telltale Games.

Teased during the 2015 Game Awards, Telltale Games is now working on an episodic story-driven Batman game, set during the origins of the World’s Greatest Detective and his conflict with the Falcone crime family. A brief “logo teaser” was shown last year, however an extended “gameplay” trailer was revealed this morning; as with other Telltale games, Batman: The Telltale Series will be a narrative title guided by a series of player-made story and conversational decisions. This isn’t the first comic book outing from Telltale, as the developer previously explored the worlds of The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us.

The first episode of Batman: The Telltale Series– “Realm of Shadows”- will be available on 8/2 for PC, Xbox One, PS4, 360, PS3 and mobile platforms.
