While Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- releases tomorrow for Japan (12/4) and on 12/16 for the United States, fans who pre-ordered the US Limited Edition will have to wait a little longer due to an unforeseen production delay.
In a recent blog post from the official Aksys Games website, it was revealed that the Limited Edition version of Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- will not be releasing on 12/16 in North America. Aksys states that “unforeseen strikes” at both the Port of Los Angeles and Port of Long Beach have delayed work on “key components”. While it comes as a surprise disappointment to some fans, the delay is only slight; Aksys expects Limited Edition copies to ship 1-2 weeks later than expected.
The Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- Limited Edition for the US includes a physical [vocal] soundtrack. keychain based on Sol Badguy’s “FREE” emblem, concept art book, and a special case modeled after the sacred tome “The Backyard”.
Again, the standard edition will not be afflicted by either strikes, and will release on 12/16 for both the PS3 and PS4.
