Monolith Soft is giving fans a quick look at one of the wildest cross-over titles on the 3DS, Project X Zone 2.
Last week, Monolith Soft pulled the curtain back on their upcoming title, Project X Zone 2. While little is known about the plot, the wild cross-over appears to be a direct sequel to 2013’s Project X Zone. The original game featured a unique blend of Fighting and Strategy/Tactical RPG mechanics, used by a cast of over 50 characters from the archives of Capcom, Bandai Namco and Sega.
A series of new screenshots were released over the weekend, showcasing some gameplay segments within the future Nintendo 3DS title. Project X Zone fans and followers of the represented publishers will find many returning characters, along with the new characters mentioned in the announcement trailer:
While an official release date has not been scheduled, Monolith Soft plans to release Project X Zone 2 for the Nintendo 3DS worldwide this Fall.
