A new video shows the first 15 minutes of Estival Versus‘s Story Mode…As a fair warning, it may not be suitable for viewing in a public environment.

Senran Kagura: Estival Versus is the next chapter of the popular Senran Kagura franchise. North American audiences may have only experienced Senran Kagura Burst for the Nintendo 3DS, along with Shinovi Versus and Bon Appétit! on the PS Vita, however the franchise is incredibly popular in Japan; an anime series, manga and two other titles are available to Japanese audiences.

Senran Kagura: Estival Versus is a continuation of 2014’s Vita title Shinovi Versus, and is the first Senran Kagura game to release for a next-gen console- the PS4. Set during Summer (“estival” is French for “Summer”), the Story Mode takes place on a tropical-getaway style island, inhabited with the spirits of fallen ninjas. A new gameplay video was released this weekend, following twin ninjas Ryona and Ryobi as they encounter their once-deceased sister Ryoki, who is clearly very-much-alive. Combat sequences are hidden among the copious amounts of fan-service, where the characters are shown fighting against hordes of rival ninjas:

While a North American release date has not been announced, Senran Kagura: Estival Versus will release on 3/26 for the PS4 and Vita.
