There’s still no concrete release date, however North American Senran Kagura fans will have the option of purchasing a special Limited Edition for either version of Estival Versus.
The latest title is already available in Japan, however North America won’t see Senran Kagura: Estival Versus until this Winter season- more specifically, Q1 2016. Featuring the largest roster of characters pulled in from the anime, games and spin-off titles, the students of the various rival ninja schools are thrown into a parallel island paradise dimension that houses the souls of departed loved ones. Both the PS4 and PS Vita versions will include the full roster of 35 characters, along with online multiplayer, however the Vita release is only limited to 4-player online, compared to the 10-player limit of its console counterpart.
North American Senran Kagura publisher XSEED recently announced that the upcoming release of Estival Versus would be accompanied with its own Limited Edition, unique from the original Japanese LE release. The “Senran Kagura: Estival Versus Endless Summer” edition will be available for both the PS4 and PS Vita releases, containing an art book, 2-disc soundtrack, and a random assortment of 2.5×3.5″ character art cards with characters from the four represented factions- Hanzo National Academy, Hebijo Clandestine Girls’ Academy, Gessen Girls’ Academy, and Homura’s Crimson Squad.
TheĀ Senran Kagura: Estival Versus Endless Summer Limited Edition will be available at launch at $59.99 for the PS4 version and $49.99 for the PS Vita; the standard editions will cost $10 less than their limited edition releases.
An official date has not been scheduled, however Senran Kagura: Estival Versus will release sometime in Q1 2016.
