The newcomers in Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- shine in a brand new gameplay trailer, complete with a hint at returning fan-favorite, Dizzy.

The 2016 “Year of Fighting Games” is already underway with the final Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS DLC now available, the North American PS4 release of Nitroplus Blasterz, and the releases of Mortal Kombat XL and Street Fighter V. Several other heavy-hitters and returning classics are scheduled for the rest of 2016, including Killer Instinct: Season 3, KOF XIV, the expected console release of BlazBlue: Central Fiction, and Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR-.

Following 2014’s Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-, Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- is currently available in Japanese arcades, with console ports arriving this Summer for both Japan and North American PS3’s/PS4’s. The 2D/3D visual-hybrid Fighter includes expanded gameplay mechanics, new modes designed for entry-level players, new stage variants, and five additional characters. A new gameplay trailer from Arc System Works highlights new and returning characters Johnny, Jack-O, Jam Kuradoberi, Kum Haehyun and Raven;

Dizzy is briefly teased in the closing moments, as she will be the sixth additional character courtesy of a Japanese-exclusive poll held last year. Though she appears during the Xrd -SIGN- Story Mode, Arc System Works released a silhouette of her character model in -REVELATOR-:

Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- will release for the PS3 and PS4 in Japan on 5/26, with the North American and European versions arriving on  6/7 and 6/10.
